The Wilson Thunder Ranch guns were produced out of a business arrangement between Bill Wilson (of Wilson Combat) and Clint Smith (of Thunder Ranch). They both agreed that Wilson would build a limited run of 50 pistols. The pistols were serial numbered TR00001 through TR00050. All guns were produced with the ambi-safeties, except for the number one gun (previously owned by Clint Smith) it has a single standard thumb safety, this is the way Clint had requested for the gun to be built. This pistol is all original. Clint has carried this gun during his days at the Thunder Ranch facility in Texas. I have not fired this pistol, there is NO round count and there is NO estimate of a round count. As with all of Wilson Combat handguns, service is for life by Wilson Combat Inc. I will also include a free (Guns & Ammo) HANDGUNS Magazine that has a great article (by Clint Smith) on the history of the Thunder Ranch pistols, this magazine also includes info and photos of the gun that is up for auction here!
