It was purchased by an older gentleman in this area as soon as it arrived in the gun shop. Recently, meeting the son of the previous owner, he stated that his father never loaded or fired the pistol and only used it for for the "Bragging Rights". Unlike Solos shipped from Kimber this one has two magazines that don't appear to have been loaded.I am told that he never fired the pistol, just carried it around in the shipping carton and showed it off. The breechface showes the same ring where it was at least test-fired at the factory that my Solo showed when I got it new. It was test fired at the factory but shows no sign of beinged fired after it was bought. This is the two-toned mode;l with the blued aluminium frame and the stainless slide and barrel. The bore and magazines are perfect. The trigger face is smooth and has a smooth and fairly light trigger pull. there are amberdextrious thumb safties. The three dot blue steel sights are set in dovetail cuts for easy change. The condition and bore are as new in box. If you are reading this you probablly know about this pistol. This is one of the first shipped and the cardboard shipping box does show some carry wear. I really don't know if this is a NIB gun, but I'd bet that was not fired aster leaving Kimber. I do kmnow how hard these are to come by. This does appear to be NIB and without firing it I can find no fault in the function. This price is less than I generally see for sale, I don't know how long it will remain here for sale. If purchased here it is sold at that time.
