Description: L. C. Siner / German Single Barrel Trap Gun is a Single Barrel Trap Shotgun. It has the Serial #3256 on the for end, barrel flats, and water table, all matching. This gun was manufactured around c. 1900's out of Philadelphia. It has an Under Lever Top Break action. It is a 12 GA that chambers 75mm shotgun shells. The has a 32" half round and half octagon barrel that is marked (STAHL). The barrel has a solid rib that is matted and it has an Extractor. The barrel is Blued about 99% +. The bore diameter at the muzzle is .700. The bore diameter measures .719 at 1 1/4" from the muzzle. The bore is Excellent. It has an Ivory front bead sight and a gold middle bead. The trigger is a Single Smooth trigger. It is a bottom lever top break gun. The receiver is fully engraved in a fancy floral pattern, on each side there is a raised lobe each having on their flats a nicely done Setter on point. The top tang also has a fancy floral pattern engraving and 1 3/4" down of the standing breach is a cocking indicator. The receiver is case hardened in a gray tone. It has a Semi splinter for end with a finger release lever. It is fully checkered and the checkering shows little wear and a slight small mar in the nose of the for end which is to small to measure. It has a 13 7/8" LOP over a custom rubber butt pad. It has a straight stock that is a handsome piece of walnut showing a prominent ray flick. It is checkered in the wrist and side panels of the stock. Checkering shows little wear, No Cracks, has several Superficial scratches and dents. The markings on Both sides of receiver are "Finished by L.C. Siner & CO.". Marked on the water table "3256" and a German Proof Mark. It has "3256 inside of the for end and on the barrel flat. On the bottom of the barrel flat are Numerous German Proof marks. It has custom engraving on the receiver and the barrel. Overall condition is Excellent functional condition. FFL Required. NRA Fine.
