Most of the Center Point Scopes we see here in West Tennessee come to us via old Mr. Sam Walton’s stores. We have a good many hunters and young military veterans who think highly of them. Here is one that came to us mounted on a little-used Winchester Model 70 rifle, the Center Point with number 10-05039xx on its bottom turret area flat. This appears to be Center Point’s Adventure Class, see their home pages centerpointoptics. We assume that is its model; that might even be its serial number. Objective lens measures 1.70 inches, 44 mm Objective, with zero to infinity adjustments. Overall length is 14 5/8 inches, with 7 inches of main tube that is 1 inch diameter. Note the external elevation and windage adjustments, and also note the lock rings between them and the turret housing. The knob on the left side of the scope is its light control; this scope features red and green illuminated mil-wire or mil-dot crosshairs, like the ones in the photo that we have attached. The rings shown are the only ones that have ever been mounted on this scope. Surface detractions are negligible, we detect only one tiny contact scour on the objective bell, well back of the adjustment ring. Lens coatings are excellent with no scouring whatsoever, as the photos show. Mechanics are excellent as well, and we have installed a new 3 volt Lithium battery.
