Description: When Bersas began showing up in our area in the 1980s, we assumed they were quality pistols. We already had plenty of positive experience with Brazilian firearms, and we knew Argentina couldn't be far off. Besides, at that time, all Taurus had done by way of .380 handguns was the model 58, which was on a 9mm frame, a PT-58, which we interpreted as Pretty __ Thick. While the Taurus was a 92 frame, this Bersa is a Walther PPK take-off. Its maximum slide thickness is .865, and the frame thickness is only .631. With its hard rubber grips, the Bersa reaches a maximum thickness of only 1.03 inches at the widest point of the grips. Maximum height, including the flat floorplate, is 4 15/16 inches with a maximum overall length of 6 1/2 inches. Weight empty is only 19 7/8 ounces. Frame is matte anodized alloy, and slide and parts are matte blue steel. Barrel is 3 1/4 inches, and capacity is 7 + 1 rounds. Sights are readily visible 3 dot, staked on blade front with dovetailed windage adjustable rear. One area where Bersa outshines everybody else is safety. This Bersa has a firing pin block safety, a manual safety / decocker, and even a magazine safety. This particular specimen comes to us from the estate of its original owner. From its 345000 Range Serial Number, it was manufactured in the mid 1990s from similarly number new specimens we sold in 1995 and 1996. Importer was RSA Enterprises in New Jersey, and this specimen antedates the Eagle Import descendants and unlike them, it does not have an internal lock. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint amounts of edge whitening on the frame and slide. We rate it as Excellent, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate; but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. From its condition and from our knowledge of its late owner, a highly successful Memphis businessman, it has been fired fewer than 100 times. Replacement pricing on similar new Bersas in our area is well over $300 apiece. We’re offering the Brady Era Thunder 380 in the photos, however, for only $ 259.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, the District of Colombia, or Massachusetts.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $15 lower 48; $40 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
