CETME-XTR 308 CALIBER XTREME TACTICAL RIFLE SYSTEM! Our expert gunsmiths have transformed the renowned CETME SPORTER rifle (.308 caliber) into a modern day tactical weapon. The original CETME is an acronym for Centro de Estudios Técnicos de Materiales Especiales (Center for Technical Studies of Special Materials), a Spanish government design and development establishment. The CETME rifle, chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO caliber (US .308 caliber), was designed primarily by a German engineer who based his model on a late WWII German prototype assault rifle, the experimental StG45(M). Manufactured in Spain starting in 1957, the original CETME Model A served as a blueprint for the German Heckler & Koch G3 series of battle rifles. The CETME features roller-delayed blowback operation, which it shares with many German weapons. Our package starts with a CETME SPORTER rifle which is a quality US manufactured copy of the original CETME rifle. We replace the forearm with the new UTG tactical aluminum Tri-Rail. Manufactured from aircraft grade hard anodized aluminum, it features a total of 29 rail slots, and comes with rail covers for all three sides. PACKAGE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING TACTICAL ACCESSORIES: MKIII 3x9 variable power tactical scope; large 42mm lens, quick release weaver style/picatinny mounting lever, open target turrets, fully multi-coated lenses, built in sunshade, quick focus eyepiece, illuminated red or green mildot reticule, 3-brightness levels, just 7.5” overall length, ½” MOA adjustments, and 2" eye relief. The STANAG style mount from TAPCO is a high quality copy of the original German HK claw mount. Machined from high carbon steel, it mounts in just seconds. We add a lightweight polymer Weaver / Picatinny rail that allows you to mount any optic on the STANAG claw mount. The UTG tactical red laser features the True Strength platform for durable and responsive internal adjustments. The precise and wide range windage and elevation adjustments work for all firearms. It includes a universal clamp-on mounting deck to fit Weaver / Picatinny rails, ambidextrous push button switch, and a remote pressure switch. The tactical low-profile folding Dragon Claw bipod has a unique and solid mounting system that attaches directly to the barrel. It is constructed of high tech aluminum to be both light weight and durable. Spring loaded legs are adjustable from 9” to 11", and the bipod folds up under the barrel for convenient handling. The deluxe vertical foregrip has five foldable positions, finger grooves, left and right pressure switch slots with removable covers, plus a battery/accessory storage compartment that holds two extra CR123 lithium batteries. We include four 20 round high capacity original German G3 aluminum paratrooper mags with this package, plus two double mag battlepacks to hold the mags. Also comes with a special instruction manual / booklet for the CETME rifle.
