Straight grip saddle ring carbine. Cal. 30-30, 20" barrel. Ser. # AB47XX (1966 Mfr.). Excellent bore, and excellent condition overall. Wood has been nicely refinished , and all the metal has been professionally reblued in "Hunters Matte Blue" by Checkmate Custom in Florida. There are the remains some very light scattered freckling showing on the receiver (only) under the new bluing where some old light rust spots were buffed out before refinishing (see photos). I asked that they go light on the surface prep in order to preserve the flats and sharp corners.
