Construction is steel barrel, bolt, magazine tube, trigger, and internal parts, in a light weight alloy receiver with polymer safety button and trigger housing. Receiver is drilled for optics mounts, Weaver #88 or 417 series. Type is dual system self regulating gas operated semi-automatic shotgun. Chambering is 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch magnums interchangeably. Capacity is 5 + 1 on 2 3/4 inch; or 4 + 1 on 3 inch loads. Magazine extensions are readily available and easily installed. Barrel is 24 inch Accu-Choke, and it comes with a factory XX Turkey Accu-Choke® tube, that tapers from .730 at the thread junction to .670 at the muzzle end. Barrel has 16 ports for felt recoil reduction. Sight system is a 10 post .375 serrated Ventilated Rib, with windage and elevation adjustable dual red fiber optic rear and green fiber optic front mounted saddling the rib. Safety is classic Mossberg top tang style; and the .250 smooth face blue steel trigger pulls at 5 pound vicinity with minimal felt creep. Buttstock is pistol grip Thug type, with optics friendly 2 1/4 inch drop at the comb area, and 2 3/4 inch drop at the butt; and with a 3/4 inch right handed cant. Length of pull is 14 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 7/8 inch black factory recoil pad. Weight empty is 7 pounds 12 ounces, with center of gravity at the breech face. 46 inches is overall length counting the tube. Sling hardware is for QD swivels, blue magazine cap stud and buttstock eyelet. With exception of the matte blue bolt, safety button, and shell carrier, finish is entirelyMossy Oak Break-Up Infinity® Camo. This 930 has served light duty, likely with a Mossberg sales rep or writer. The letter U is factory stamped near its serial number. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint occasional edge wear or surface streaking.
