The surfaces on this nice target model revolver retain about 97 to near 98% original blue, the loss is due only to some very light high edge wear and the very beginning of a very faint turn ring. There are some areas of very sparse, extremely light oxidation, they are nearly un-noticed. The bright-polished sides of the hammer show some light oxidation with very good blue along its spine. The checkered walnut grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions rate very good plus showing some minor dings and handling marks and a couple flattened points left and right, they are stamp-numbered to the gun. The gun times well and locks up as tight as the day it left Hartford in 1929. Really a super third issue revolver overall.
