The stock is a beautiful piece of Oregon Myrtle wood that has too much figure in the fore end for a rifle stock. I could not keep it stable until a V grove in the barrel channel at 5 and 7 o’clock was filled with fiber glass. The action and barrel are glass bedded. There is also a hairline crack on the left side slightly behind the front of the receiver that happened before the rifle was finished, it was repaired and reinforced with the glass bedding. This is a very accurate rifle with hand loads and was used for my long-range chuck shooting. I cannot remember for certain but I believe it is finished with hand rubbed Tru-oil, which was the finish that I normally used and has 20 LPI checkering. The rollover comb is very comfortable in shooting; however, I prefer the more classic look. I would have to double check but if memory does not fail me, it has a Timmney Target trigger. The bolt and extractor have been jeweled. I am asking $875.00 and can supply much higher quality images by email if desired.
