Here is a package deal, a brand new Saiga sporter variant of the tried and true Kalashnikov AK type rifle line chambered in .223 Remington caliber, with 500 rounds of Russian commercial ammunition, both products made in Russia by veteran machinists. Each Saiga Rifle comes with a 10 round detachable magazine, and for all we know they will accept Chinese AK Mags in that caliber. Barrel length is 16.3 inches; and overall length is a compact 37.3 inches. Weight empty is a solid 8.4 pounds, so these are exceptionally light recoiling rifles. Sights are conventional windage and elevation adjustable, and stock and forend are durable black synthetic, equipped with integral sling swivel studs. Bore, chamber, and gas tube interior are all chrome lined for maximum durability. These rifles accept their own domestic ammo best of all, and this package includes 500 rounds of top quality Brown Bear Russian Commercial .223 Steel Case ammunition, loaded with 55 grain lead core full metal jacket cannelured bullets. This ammo's cases are not reloadable, of course; but they are brass plated and laquer coated for smooth functioning and considerable longevity of storage. Factory spec velocity from 20 inch barreled rifles is 3050 feet per second.
