It is in astonishingly good condition for its age. No parts have been replaced or altered as far as can be determined. It has the original walnut grips with U.S. Army cartouche and the original seven-inch barrel. It has been checked over by a gunsmith. It is recommended for purchase as an antique collectible item; however, it is in fully operable condition and has been test-fired. The gun will be shipped with five .45 Schofield dummy cartridges (brass casing and lead bullet, no powder or primer). Shipping cost is included in the purchase price.
