A year set, that is, that does not include the crucial key years of 1892 through 1894, nor is there a relatively easy-to-find 1897 Dollar included. This American Historic Society set is nevertheless fully representative and houses 24 excellent specimens of the run of Silver Dollars from 1878 through 1935. We consider all specimens to grade at least Extremely Fine, and many of them are AU – BU Range. Even though space and time do not permit us to include photographs of reverses, we have included sufficient photos, we believe, to allow interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves.
