Here are quite possibly some of the last magazines to fit any Marlin Bolt Action chambered in .22 Magnum or .17 HMR calibers, that were manufactured in New Haven. Construction is blue steel, with red polymer cartridge follower. These magazines fit any Marlin bolt action in either caliber manufactured after 1975, including models 25M 725M 917 925 and 925M. It will not fit a 922 model Marlin. It will not fit old model 25 rifles or any made prior to about 1975. It will Not fit rifles chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Blue magazines like these look okay in stainless guns, but nickel or stainless magazines don’t look very good in blue guns. Each magazine holds 7 rounds of .22 Winchester Magnum or .17 HMR Hornady Magnum caliber ammunition.
