This is a WWII era pistol manufactured in 1945. Gun has been fully engraved with nice scroll and leaf design. Artist is unknown as the piece appears unsigned. Condition is phenomenal with period correct grips and target sights. 5” barrel is very good with a bright, clean bore showing strong rifling. Slide is completely engraved and shows very little surface wear. The frame is in similar condition, being fully engraved with light overall wear. Blueing is excellent. Trigger shows some minor wear; Action functions flawlessly on this C&R eligible pistol. Original period bakelite grips are very good with some minor handling wear; No breaks or cracks. This gun has been fitted with target sights; Taller front blade sight; Adjustable rear sight.
