Description: Very nice example of a classic Marlin rifle. Professionally re-finished, the wood is nearly perfect with no discernible nicks or dings. Metal shows signs of normal usage and only a few small nicks; nearly all of the lettering is still nice and sharp as are the edges of the octogon barrel, receiver, etc -- sign of a very skilled re-finisher. Crescent butt-plate. Bore is in great shape. Mechanics of the action are very tight; great condition. Notes: These rifles were built between 1911 and 1932, with a break in production during WWI.
