Description:
I am selling a customized Armalite AR-50 50 BMG single shot, bolt
action rifle with extras. The rifle was purchased 6 months ago, brand
new. I have shot about 100 rounds through it. I cleaned
the bore after every round for the first 20, and then after every 5 up
until 50 (so it was broken in properly). Never have I put more than
20 rounds through this gun without cleaning it, and I never allowed
the bore to heat up while I was shooting it.
When I bought the gun I was irritated with the phosphated black
coating on the gun stock. It really showed dirt and looked pretty
ugly. Therefore I had the whole stock Cerakoted in OD green.
Cerakoting is a baked on power-coat like finish. Dirt, grease,
anything just wipes off.
Rifle only includes:
Bipod & scope rail
Jewel Trigger (Adjustable from 2 OZ -> 2 lb. Best trigger on market)
Custom bore guide for AR-50
Tipton carbon fiber 50 BMG cleaning rod & 50 cal jag
Pelican hard-case, custom fit for the AR-50 (pelican makes the best
gun cases period)
I would like to get $2700 for this stuff. I know you can get a new
AR-50 for about that price, but the Jewel trigger, bore guide and
pelican case alone are worth $500. Not only that, but the cerakote I
had done to the stock was about $350.
If you are interested in the scope, it is a Nightforce 12-42x 56MM
illuminated scope. Also, it is mounted to the gun with
matched badger ordinance 50 caliber scope rings (MAX-50). This is
one of the the best long range scopes there is. I will
include the Scope + Rings for an additional $1000 (thats a deal if you
know Nightforce products!)
Now, I have a lot of 50 cal specific reloading equipment I can
include. I have custom manufactured neck sizing dies (custom
manufactured to the throat of THIS particular gun for highest possible
accuracy by lee precision) I also have a custom bullet seating die
specifically for use with Barnes brass solid bullets, also
manufactured by lee precision. In addition, I have the generic full
length 50 bmg resizing die & bullet seating dies. Lee single stage
press with all the equipment to seat primers, bullets, size and load a
shell. In addition to the reloading press & custom dies I will
include:
- 25 loaded rounds with 750 gr. barnes solids in new brass
- 25 loaded rounds with 700 gr. armor piercing incindiary bullets
- 1 unopened 8 lb keg of accurate 8700 powder
- ~400 CCI 50 BMG primers
- 100 new barnes 750 gr solid brass bullets
- ~450 (in 50 cal ammo can) of pulled military 702 gr. armor piercing
50 cal bullets. These have ALL been resized and tumbled and are
excellent for plinking. (Incidently, i'll include my 50 cal bullet
resizing dies too)
- Sinclair tungsten primer pocket reamer and flash hole reamer
- Sinclair deburring/chamfer tool for 50 BMG
- Sinclair 50 BMG shell holder for reloading
- 50 caliber ammunition case (not a cheap ammo can, this individually
holds 50 rounds for safe transport)
- There is probably more that I am forgetting, so you may get some bonus's
I am willing to let all this reloading equipment go for $600.
I will *NOT* sell the reloading equipment or the scope by themselves, you must purchase the gun as well. All this equp. is worth so much more than $600. If you've never reloaded before, i'll give you a quick lesson. In addition, Lee
precision has a bunch of videos on their website describing resizing,
priming, etc. Reloading isn't rocket sience, it will take you all of
a few hours to become a pro. In addition, you will end up with ammo
that is MUCH cheaper and also more accurate than anything you can buy
pre-loaded.
