The action is tight and the refurbished barrels retain 95% of their finish with minor indications of use. Extensive, beautifully executed, darkly shaded scroll engraving covers the receiver, operating lever, side plates, trigger guard and forearm latching hardware. The receiver bolsters have matching rose bouquet engraving and the barrels have 3" wedges of floral scroll. The coin finish is bright and clean and the attention to detail in the shading makes this a truly special job.
Highly figured, dark grain European walnut is used for the pistol grip stock and three piece forearm. Multi-point checkering wraps around the grip & forearm and carved dropper points grace the stock. A 'yet-to-be-initialed' silver cap is fitted to the grip. As the pictures show, the refinished wood is in excellent condition with very minor handling marks.
This gun comes in a fitted luggage case with nickeled oil bottle and snap caps. The interior of the case is red felt and appears newly recovered. The outside of the case is dark brown leather with brass corners and shows use but is still quite serviceable to protect this fine gun. Call with any questions and see our other listings for ...
