Inland Manufacturing, LLC is proud to introduce the re-production of the M1 Carbine built by the original Inland Division of General Motors during World War Two. Modeled after the last production model that Inland made in 1945, this carbine features a type 3 bayonet lug / barrel band, adjustable rear sights, push button safety, round bolt, "low wood" walnut stock, and a 15-round magazine. The barrel is precision bored with a 4 groove 1 in 20” twist rate which provides great performance with the lighter projectiles commonly found with .30 Carbine ammunition. While all primary functioning components and the stock are new, they are interchangeable with the original GI M1 carbines. The only exception is the oiler, which is military surplus. Inland has paid great attention to detail on these carbines, making them look very close to the originals. These guns are a nice alternative to higher priced and harder to find original USGI models. We also stock the Inland M1 1944 Carbine (ILM140) with a 10Rd mag and no bayonet lug, and the M1A1 Paratrooper model (ILM150), contact us for availability.
