This listing is for the exact rifle in the photos. Here is Savage’s contribution to .22 Magnum versatility, the A22. Manufacturer is Savage Arms of Westfield, MA, and so marked. Type is clip fed, blowback action semi auto rimfire rifle. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, safety, levers, trigger assembly, sling studs, and internal parts, with polymer casing and magazine, encased in a graphite based synthetic stock and trigger guard assembly. Chambering is .22 Winchester Magnum caliber. Barrel is 21 3/4 inch medium type. Bore is six groove right hand 1:16 rifling. Sight system is dual Weaver type 2 slot Picatinny, on 4 inch centers and with 3/8 inch thickness. Trigger is .255 Accu Trigger, pulls two stage at 6 pounds in the Accu style with moderate felt overtravel. Safety is right side round serrated push button. Stock has a 1 3/4 by 2 inches drop from the mounts, with 14 inches length of pull and with a 1 inch right hand cast. This is Not a southpaw friendly rifle. Overall length is 41 5/8 inches; weight empty is 5 pounds 8 ounces, centered at the breech face. Finish is polished blue barrel and receiver, with matte black surface stock. This rifle is new and unfired, and comes to us from a Distributor Sale in its plain box with a reprinted instruction manual, and its original protective papers.
