Description: Sharps Model 1874 Military Rifle 45-70 cal Bore VG plus, Mech Exc tight action, Wood VG plus with a light coat of varnish. Has a 30” Rd barrel with original sights. Lawrance rear sight, The barrel is Old Reliable marked and Sharps Rifle Co Bridgeport Conn address. Also is cal.45 marked ahead of the receiver. Has 3 Barrel bands , original sling swivels, and the stock has a patchbox. Metal overall has a blue brown patina finish with traces of some fine pitting. Serial# 159385.
