Here is a very nice classic top eject Winchester Model 94 Lever Action from President Reagan's election year of 1980, fitted with a Reagan Era, Korean-Made Simmons 3x9 Deerfield Variable. The mounts are some of the earliest Kwik-Site brand, the #2 company behind J.B. Holden Ironsighters, definitely the rage of the 1980s as our editor's boomer generation began entering the bifocal club en masse. The chief area with surface detractions is the hard 94 receiver, never known for holding bluing very well. Speckling to the receiver is only moderate, though; and the rest of the blue is strong throughout on this 94. Forend and buttstock are very nice light grained walnut, with attractive burl pattenr on the left sides of the forend and stock especially. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent, and the scope is mechanically sound as well. If someone chooses to leave it on the rifle, they must remember that up means left and left means down, referring to where the bullet will strike with adjustment to the scope in its 90 degree canted position that allows the cartridge to eject. This is a very respectable, attractive, and eminently serviceable tricked out 1980 Winchester 94. We're offering it for only $ 439.95
