This listing is for the exact shotgun in the photos.. From its home in a Florida importer's warehouse comes this Akkar 12 gauge Over and Under Shotgun. Manufacturer was Akkar Silah Sanayi Ltd. of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer was Samco of Miami, the Charles Daly Importer from mid 2012 until 2015. From its 11 serial number prefix, it was manufactured in 2011, a pre-Daly. Action is box lock over and under shotgun. Construction is entirely steel metal, walnut, and rubber recoil pad. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Barrel is 25 15/16 inch, nominally 26 inches with muzzle threaded for standard Rem-choke tubes. Bore is standard diameter, non back bored, and chrome lined. Tubes furnished are .686 Full 1 slash mark; .7065 diameter Modified 3 slash marks; and .716 Improved Cylinder 4 slash. Sight system is .275 width serrated top, 8 post ventilated rib, that sits .24 inch above the barrel at midsection. Front sight is conventional brass bead.The .240 smooth faced trigger pulls two stage at 4 pounds vicinity with minimal felt creep and moderate overtravel. Transfer is selective and mechanical, not recoil dependent. Mechanism is independent ejectors, not simple extractors. Safety tang mounted and serves as the barrel selector. Forend is fluted top semi beavertail with cut checkered surface laterals. Buttstock length of pull is 14 3/8 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 3/4 inch removable / interchangeable two piece recoil pad. Stock drop is 1 3/8 at the comb, and 2 inches at the heel. Buttstock is cast fully 1 inch to the right. Stock has Cut checkered laterals on the pistol grip. This will NOT be a southpaw friendly over-under unless made so by a competent stock smith. Weight empty is 7 pounds, 6 ounces, centered at the pivot pin. Finish is matte oxide barrels and stainless steel furniture. Walnut finish is semi gloss.. Lettering is roll stamped on the barrel and inked on the receiver. Surface detractions are negligible. We rate this Daly as Excellent, perhaps Near Mint, 95 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, threads, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We do not believe this shotgun was ever loaded or fired. It comes in its original box with protective papers, barrel sticker, total of 3 choke tubes, choke tube wrench, NSSF safety flyer, instruction manual, and a never executed factory registration card.
