This side lock double has about 30% engraving, high grade fancy walnut checkered pistol grip stock. Made by Lindner for Charles Daly of the company "Schoverling,Daly and Gales" The barrels are choked imp/imp? Lock up is tight, barrels are sound (no loose joints), smooth steel butt plate. Forend tip is missing. Top of barrels are marked "Charles Daly Fine Damascus Barrels", each side plate is marked "Charles Daly". Serial number is 136x marked on the water table, forend iron and the bottom of barrels, along with the proof or makers mark of a "Crown over Crossed Pistols". L.O.P. to front trigger is 13 3/4".
