Here is a pristine Reagan-Era specimen of the most intricate Lever Action rifle ever produced, the Browning BLR-81, chambered in the favorite .308 Winchester Caliber. Serial number date code is PR, Miroku Manufacture from 1987. This rifle's only surface detractions are negligible, two or three small places on the glossy finished walnut where the finish is slightly dulled, but nowhere penetrated or actually scratched. Trigger shows some weakness to its gold plating, but that was common on these even when they were brand new. The exclusive retail owner of this rifle installed Weaver bases and scoped it, but it has been fired fewer than 100 rounds. We classify it as Excellent, 95-97 percent finishwise; photos, however, should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. Its box has moderate fraying to its sharp edges, and one of the label end edges is torn on the lid. Original instruction manual, plastic protection sheet, and barrel protection paper are intact.
