Here is the latest variant of an excellent and economical 9mm pistol, Smith & Wesson's incursion into Glock Territory, the Sigma Series Center Fire SW9VE, product Code #220025, in stainless steel and polymer. This particular specimen came to us on a multiple gun trade with one of our fellow FFL dealers in Florida; it has not been fired since it left Smith & Wesson in July of 2011; and it has never had a 4473 form executed on it. The Sigmas, like their Glock parents, have no manually operated safety, but they do include the highly important firing pin block safety that prevents accidental firing if the weapon is dropped. It is double action only, a long steady pull on every shot; barrel length is 4 inches; 3 dot sights; 24.3 oz weight empty. These fine pistols include a total of two 16-round stainless body magazines yielding a 17 round capacity. Slide, barrel, and magazine bodies are all Stainless Steel, with a black high impact polymer grip frame that is slotted on its forward sides for accessories like flashlights and lasers.
