It is entirely original, unused and unsharpened, and is in mint or near-mint condition. Its only surface detractions are small light inconspicuous scuffing to the polished stainless blade surfaces from mere opening and closing, and dark toning to the never-used file attachment. Gold or brass-toned handle panel-liners have only a few inconspicuous dark toning marks to their edges, and the black and red color inlay is full strength and intact. Overall length closed is 3 inches; the main spear pattern blade measures 2 ¼ inches from heel to point, and the pen blade measures 1 ¾ inches. File measurement is 2 3/8 inches from heel to point. This rare knife is mechanically perfect with excellent strength to its backsprings. This is the only such specimen we have ever owned; we got it from the late Mr. James Pate who ran Jim’s Pawn Shop in Jacksonville, Arkansas, near Blytheville Air Force Base, over 20 years ago.
