Pistol has at least one WWII German proof mark. Yes, it is now currently only $575. I still have it available, and I am still willing to take this ridiculously low price. I believe that this gun was manufactured in either 1944 or 1945, because of the obvious manufacture tool marks, and thin bluing. During these years, and especially during 1945, the production process for these were speed up, and thus quality of the finish suffered greatly. In the rush to produce more arms, the guns often had shallow or worn looking lettering, and even the proper Nazi acceptance process was skipped to get these guns to the front lines, thus the WaA140 proof mark wouldn't be found on some of the later guns produced during the war. Still a great proven design, with such a great history. One grip has a name carved into it, the other has a chip. Gun is very accurate and fun to shoot. Serial number is very hard to read, but i believe it is 33781a or 38781a. The barrel has been replace, with what I believe to be a post WWII barrel, and it's serial number is 25452.
