Here is a black stainless Sig Arms model 229, caliber .40 S&W, is in Excellent Condition. It is in its original box with instruction manual, with only one magazine. Its principal detraction is a slight amount of holster contact scuffing on the forward ribs of the grip frame, as the photos show, and light slide contact on the exposed area of the barrel. It has factory night sights that are quite strong, about 70 percent original strength by our estimate. This variant 229 has a magazine safety disconnector; that is, the magazine has to be in place for the pistol to fire. Magazine capacity is 12 round, yielded a maximum loaded capacity of 13 rounds. Barrel length is 3.9 inches, and the bore, chamber, and mechanism are all excellent. Weight is 32 oz empty. Magazine is LE marked, not legal in California, New York, or Massachusetts.
