Description: C&R OK. This is a very nice rare configuration Winchester 1895 Carbine rifle for sale chambered in 30-40 caliber. The barrel length is 22 inches long and this was manufactured in 1905. The bore is in very good condition with a little bit of frost. The finish on the barrel is in very good shape with some spots of wear and some light scratches. The finish on the receiver is also in very good shape with some wear and scratches. The forend and stock are both in great shape with some minor handling wear. The butt plate is original, has the trap door for storage and in great shape. This gun is in a rare configuration as it was manufactured with rifle sights and no top hand guard. The front sight has been replaced with a better front sight for shooting, but the original front leaf sight is included. There is a factory letter from the Cody Museum included.
