This item is a M-70 Winchester Super-Grade chambered in .270 Winchester. This gun is a Pre-64 made in apx.1954. The gun has been used, and is not a collector grade gun, but it would make a great hunting rifle for someone that wants that "special" hunting rifle. It has a red rubber Winchester recoil pad added at some point. It is a Winchester pad, but the steel butt-plate is gone. I measured length-of-pull at just under 13 1/4" with the rubber pad in place. I don't have much more information, but if someone has a specific question, I can contact the owner (this is a consignment item). Let me know if you have questions or would like more pictures. I am a full-time FFL dealer in Great Falls, MT. I am customer driven. If you have ANY questions about the items that I have for sale, please do not hesitate to contact me either by phone or e-mail. I am a one-man shop I normally ship once a week on Tuesday. If your order is placed prior to noon on Monday, it should ship Tuesday morning. I will ship next day, please contact for pricing. I am not a gunsmith, nor do I play one on TV, but I highly recommend that you have all used firearms checked out by a competent gunsmith prior to use (ALL used firearms, not just the ones you purchase from me). The most important "safety" on ANY firearm is the "safety" riding between your ears. Be safe out there...
