Serial number 6879579 has a fluted 27-inch heavy barrel that tapers to a muzzle diameter of .875-inch. The barrel also has a recessed crown, is serialed to the action and is dated 11/95. Twist rate is unknown. Features include a custom bolt shroud with three-position wing (Model 70-type) safety, custom bolt release button and a Jewell trigger. The premium (consignor states McMillan) stock is profiled with a flat bottom semi-beavertail forearm and features an adjustable comb and an adjustable (vertical) butt plate with a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The action beds on twin aluminum pillars as well as glass (entire action plus two inches forward of recoil lug). Leupold mounts (1-inch medium rings) are attached.
