From its exclusive Louisiana owner’s estate comes this serviceable, attractive, and collectable Bianchi model X15 shoulder holster. It housed a Llama Pony Especial .380 pistol. It is a good fit for small to medium frame semi-autos in .22, .32 ACP, or .380 ACP with barrel lengths of less than 4 inches; and slide thickness of less than .95 inch wide. It is not a good fit on compact 9mm pistols like the Smith & Wesson 3943 or 6906; those pistols’ slides are too wide. Pistols should measure no more than 7 inches from their muzzle to their grip safety or grip frame struts. Pistols like Browning BDAs, Browning .32s, Walther PP series, Colt 1903 series, Colt Government .380, the Llama Pony pistols, Sig P230 and P232, and similar ones fit quite well. Some of our photos show a 1934 Beretta .380 that’s a really good fit. Manufacturer is Bianchi International of Ontario California. Construction is tanned harness leather with steel reinforced interior and cotton based elastic right shoulder strap. This holster is for a right handed shooter only. Surface detractions are moderate on this Bianchi, simply from moderate amounts of carry over the past 40 years. Elasticity is still good in the cotton elastic right shoulder strap; and inner steel spring still has its strength. We rate this Bianchi as Very Good, 80 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Replacement pricing is upwards of $200 for this shoulder holster.
