Remington 1894 CE Grade 12 Gauge, sn135933 - RARE GUN, EJECTORS, NICE!!!
Have you seen many engraved Remington doubles lately? With ejectors? Look the internet over; you will find few indeed. The Model 1894 was the first top lever, hammerless double Remington with less than 16 years of production, the last made in 1910. With a total in all grades of 41,000 guns, most of them low grades, Remington doubles are indeed obscure. Remington was known for work horse guns and there are plenty of old damascus A Grade 1894's for sale, some even with nitro steel barrels, but engraved Remingtons are rarely seen. This fine CE Grade sn135933, made in 1907 is a special find. Characteristic highly figured wood, delightful engraving (likely by Joseph Loy), and the prettiest, healthiest damascus barrels you have seen combine to make a very collectible, eminently shootable, investment quality vintage American shotgun.
