Beautiful rifle with milled receiver, front slant brake, and OD military sling. Comes with 2 30 round magazines. The SSR-99P was a 60's era Polish AK with the gas shut off valve for grenade launching. These rifles were built during the peak of the Cold war and put into storage, most of the rifles had only been test fired before being stored. Global bought the lot,de-milled them and commissioned Jerry Gordon to build approximately 300 rifles. Arsenal USA made their own in house built SSR-99P's towards the end of that series production runs. *Receiver: Bulgarian forged and milled receiver. *Hammer, Trigger, & Disconnector: made in the US by one of two firms that supplied them, Hesse & FSE (made using the investment cast method). *Slant muzzle brake: US made by Blue Ridge precision using the milled from barstock method. The brake is welded on with a spot of weld. *Wood grip: American made. *Demilled AK parts kit used in building the rifle: Polish AK variant (having a 45 degree gas chamber with a gas cut off system). This system was for use when launching rifle grenades from the rifle. The Polish guns are known to show some of the finest final machining found on AK's.
