A vet bringback rig(really!). Very nice DWM double date 1914/1920 indicating WWI issue and then re-issue to the Reischwehr in 1920. All matching numbers and Bohler Steel barrel (Bo.28). The pistol is also unit marked on the front gripstrap to Polizei Lübeck, a nearby city-state to Hamburg (P.L.II.50.) which is lined out and then issued to the Polizei Hamburg, Wachbereitschaft 10(P.H.10.50.) There is also another unit mark which is not discernable which could be WWI miitary. There is no sear safety. The blueing rates at about 93 - 94% with light edgewear. The finely checkered grips are a little worn - hand-worn, not dinged or gouged - and there are four very light lines drawn in the left grip. THERE IS NO MAGAZINE WITH THIS GUN - THE ONE IN THE PHOTO IS FOR DISPLAY PUPOSES ONLY. I would think that a WWI DWM magazine or WWII police magazine would be appropriate. The bore is very good - excellent(-) with sharp rifling and no pitting.
Will ship insured for $20. If returned - in original condition - buyer pays shipped both ways.
