When Bersas began showing up in our area in the 1980s, we assumed they were quality pistols. We already had plenty of positive experience with Brazilian firearms, and we knew Argentina couldn't be far off. Besides, at that time, all Taurus had done by way of .380 handguns was the model 58, which was on a 9mm frame, a PT-58, which we interpreted as Pretty __ Thick. While the Taurus was a 92 frame, this Bersa is a Walther PPK take-off. Its maximum slide thickness is .865, and the frame thickness is only .631. With its hard rubber grips, the Bersa reaches a maximum thickness of only 1.03 inches at the widest point of the grips. Maximum height, including the flat floorplate, is 4 15/16 inches with a maximum overall length of 6 1/2 inches. Weight empty is only 19 7/8 ounces. Frame is matte anodized alloy, and slide and parts are matte blue steel. Barrel is 3 1/4 inches, and capacity is 7 + 1 rounds. Sights are readily visible 3 dot, blade front with windage adjustable rear. One area where Bersa outshines everybody else is safety. This Bersa has a firing pin block safety, a manual safety / decocker, a keyed internal lock and even a magazine safety. It is Brand New in its original box with all its papers, trigger lock, and key for its internal lock. This pistol is excellent throughout, with only faint contact indications on its sharp edges. Own the Thunder 380 in the photo, or one of its identical mates, for only $ 259.95. Not transferable to civilians in Massachusetts. We are in stock on a good variety of .380 ACP Ammunition and Extra Magazines for the Bersa. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Handguns: $15 flat fee shipping to the lower 48 states; $20 to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
