This is a limited edition 1853 Enfield Rifle with a .58 caliber, 38" barrel; high polish blue; very nicely grained oil finished walnut stock. The barrel is decorated with gold filled confederate states on the right side of barrel, confederate battles on the left side of barrel and crossed confederate flags with "DEO VINDICE" in riband at the breech. The lock assembly is decorated with gold filled floral scrolls. The barrel bands, forend cap, triggerguard and buttplate are finished in bright polished brass. A large oval brass "CS" plate is affixed to right buttstock. The rifle is displayed on an attractive 13"x61" wallmount display with two turned wooden pegs. Mounted on display is a American Remembers plaque at top and a reproduction CSA officers belt plate and eleven state buttons along the bottom. New, unfired condition.
