Description: LG2617 & LG2618 Here is the first matched set of Buffalo Bill Commemorative 1894 Winchesters we've had in two or three decades. Production Year was 1968 only, and Winchester only made a few matched sets that year. These are consecutively numbered, just like they came from the factory in New Haven, Connecticut in President Nixon's Election Year. Pair consists of a octagonally barreled, walnut stocked, engraved receiver 94s with Nickel Plated forend cap and screw, saddle rings, hammers and triggers, William F. Cody inlaid Medallions, and steel buttplates. These come to us from a South Carolina estate, and they are in Excellent Condition on our view. Surface detractions are minimal. The Carbine has light scouring on the left side of its forend, and a faint amount of scuffing at two or three small places on the left flat edge of its barrel just past the forend, and on the magazine tube about 6 inches forward of the forend. Rear right side of Carbine's forend and forward right side of pistol grip area behind the Carbine's tang have moderate scouring that does not penetrate the glossy finish. Loading gate scouring is negligible on both rifles, and only visible at the gates' forward edges. We do not believe either rifle has been fired. Rifle has two or three small scours on the right forward side of the buttstock comb and on the rear of the forend. Both guns have faint wood fit scuffing beside their buttplates. This is not noticeable, but most of them were hastily fitted at the factory in 1968. We rate both these rifles as Excellent, since we estimate that less than 5 to 10 percent of each one's surface is affected by any kind of contact evidence. Bore, chambers, and mechanisms are both excellent. We're offering this superb, distinctive pair of tributes to a great American military scout and civilian showman as a pair only, each at $600.00 delivered and not sold separately. Own the pair for one low total price of only $ 1179.95. Not sold separately. 2% discount, $ 1176.00 delivered freight paid to the lower 48, if payment is with USPS Money Orders and not credit cards. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Long Guns: $20 flat fee lower 48 states; $50 to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. Shipping Notes: $20 flat fee lower 48 states; $50 to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. UPS Ground with full coverage insurance. Offers to buy must be for the registered user. Don’t buy for your buddies, that constitutes a felony level straw sale.
Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
