This rifle is in very good condition. The bluing is very good with one small nickle sized wear mark on the barrel. The wood shows some scratches from normal hunting use over the years but is solid and has no cracks. The rifle comes with the factory magazine and it also comes with a detachable peep sight set. The scope is an original weaver model and the scope rings are also weaver. The rifle also features the flip up rear sight on the barrel just in front of the scope. The bore on this rifle is extremely nice and overall, this rifle is in great condition. The serial number proves that this is a first year production model as the number is only four digits. This is a true 1955 made rifle in extremely good shape for its age. If you would like additional pictures of this rifle, feel free to contact me.
