This reciever is of mid WW2 vintage and has been thru the rebuild process. The bonus with this rifle is a NM Op-Rod. The stock is Birch, the handguards ar Walnut. The trigger guard is a machined piece(early WW2). The trigger group is Springfield as is the bolt assembly. The barrel is dark and shows some pitting and the manufacture date is 10-58 and is 24". This rifle is a piece of history and shows some wear, but as General Patton said "the finest battle implement ever devised!
