Offered here is an Early WW II German Luftwaffe Sword " Silver " w/ Original Patina and Hanger Leather. The blade is 1" wide at the cross guard and tapers down toward the tip. Blade length is 30 3/8". Overall sword length is 37 1/4". The blade is marked on one side with the maker " Paul Weyersberg & Co. Solingen " inside the maker logo. The acceptance stamp is also stamped under the logo. The blade has a small nick (approx. 3/32" long by 1/32" deep )on one edge and a few other very tiny nicks otherwise it is in excellent condition. The Sword is unit marked under cross guard as shown in pictures. The cross guard and pommel have great detail, leather on grip is in good condition and wire wrap is present and intact. -- The scabbard is leather with non-magnetic hardware and has hanger leather attached. There is one small tear in the leather near the tip of the scabbard otherwise condition is good.-- A rare collectible in original as brought home condition. --- Standard 3 day inspection period.
