Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: 3 Days Description: Colt Single Action Army, 3RD Generation, 150TH Anniversary, revolver with 71/2 inch barrel manufactured with factory nickel finish, ivory grips and factory floral scroll engraving as a “sampler” of Colt’s famous and highly collected engravers of centuries past. The elegant engraving combines the patterns of Henshaw, Nimschke and Helfricht with a sample of “contemporary” engraving. Engraved surfaces include the barrel, ejector housing, frame, back strap, trigger guard and cylinder, with geometric designs on the recoil shield and loading gate. The barrel is marked on the top with the one line factory address and on the left side with the “COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" stamping. The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates stamping, followed by the Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and left side of grip straps under the grips. Standard blade front and frame notch rear sights. Fitted with smooth ivory grips inlayed with silver Rampant Colt medallions marked "Colt / 150". The left grip is scrimshawed in black with “R. Henshaw 1831 / L. Nimschke 1 / C. Helfricht 1 / Contemporary”. Complete with maroon Texas 150 year factory box numbered to a different gun. Condition is excellent - new. The revolver retains 99% plus of the original nickel finish with a few marks from handling and storage. The cylinder has a very faint drag line. The grips are excellent with very faint marks from handling and storage. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with wear from handling and storage.
