Inscribed in the brass plate, which is inlet into the walnut stock, is the famous quote Charlton Heston spoke at the 2000 NRA National Convention: "From My Cold Dead Hands", beneath which, there is a facsimile of Charlon Heston's signature. After which there is a small copy of the NRA Seal. On this rifle, below the famous quote, is a fine roll-mark stating "062 of 925". The rifles were all .50 caliber, muzzle-loading, full stocked, cap-lock Kentucky long-rifles. The lock plate is case-colored and the gun is brass mounted. The rifle has never been fired or handled, beyond having been hung on the wall and dusted. The factory box and papers are included.
