Description: If you're looking for a like-new Cooper in 22-250 at a much reduced price, here you go. Beautiful Model 22, zebra/tiger stripe grain. The gentleman I bought it from the first part of January, a retired bird colonel, said he bought it new at the same time he bought a matching one in .243 and never fired the 22-250. Judging by its condition and the fact the action was bone dry, it appears to be unfired except of course by Cooper. The crown is razor sharp and neither it nor the bolt face have any marks or discoloration. It comes with what I think are Leupold mounts put on by Cooper, along with 30mm rings. I scuffed the bluing on the forward mount putting the rings on and taking them off. That is the only blemish on the gun. Somewhere along the way he misplaced the box and paperwork so I'll ship it in a new hard plastic case. I also bought 100 pieces of once fired brass at the same time and I can include those if you like - I don't have dies in 22-250. Just to be clear based on a question I received - the brass was not fired through this rifle. I can also add in Warne bases I bought intending to attach my Leupold tactical scope - which I never got around to.

More pictures on request - please let me know what you'd like to see in them. All FFL rules will be strictly adhered to.

You may return the rifle for any reason if you notify me immediately after receipt and no-fire inspection and the rifle, rings, brass, etc., are returned in the condition in which they were sent. Refund will be made for the purchase price only.

Follow up to a question - I was asked by one GA member for pictures of the barrel channel I presume with a mind to know whether the wood had changed shape - it has not. The wood of the fore-end does not contact the barrel and the gaps are equidistant.

Thanks for looking! Mark
