This is a rare Ruger mod.#3 in caliber 30-40 Krag. Serial number 130-579XX.It has bold white lettering on top of the barrel that says Strum,Ruger & Co.Inc; Southport,Conn.U.S.A. Below that it states: Made in the 200th. year of American liberty.All the lettering on this rifle is bold white. It has a 22 inch barrel with a bright bore and with a 98% condition on the metal finish only because of two small blemishes on the bottom of the barrel. There is a small scuff in the butt plate from standing on end.The wood finish is excellent, but the stock has some minor marrs probably from being in and out of a safe I would give this rifle a 96% overall.Looks like it was shot very little.
