Description: THIS IS A RARE, RARE RIFLE!! Colt contracted in the mid 1950's with Sako to produce just a few of these..and a fraction of those were high grade guns. Great blonde wood, similar skip-line checkering to the Sako high grade deluxe...grip cap and metal clip bottom modified with the colt insignia..metal is the deep, super polish blue you can't get anymore...bore is perfect, rifle shoots the 50 Hornandy SX into .75 MOA all day long...fitted with Leupold Rings and a NEW Leupold 4x12 scope...a super walking varminter, and really a rare edition. Square bolt with rotating safety, smooth action...Metal is 98% plus...Wood about the same EXCEPT like all laquer finishes used in the 1950's it has started to check or craze...straight on you can't see it, but at an angle in the sun it's pretty obvious. No serious scratches or dings otherwise, a few very small "safe" makes. This is a great coyote calling rifle, light, easy to carry.
