This Leupold M-8 4 power Extended Eye Relief pistol scope has the standard Leupold Duplex reticle, and it came to us on a Colt revolver that was manufactured in the late 1990s, so we estimate it was manufactured around 1999 or 2000. Its serial number is 1468xxH, if anyone has Leupold serialization. Its surface detractions, visible in the photos, are dark ring contact marking on the tube and case contact and an obverse bell nick on the front end of its tube. We rate it finishwise as very good on account of the surface detractions affecting about 15 to 20 percent of the metal surface. Mechanically, however, this Leupold is Excellent.
