Here is an authentic WWII – Korea era Olive Drab Green Government Issue equipment bag. Its only marking is BG-186 on its obverse side. Measurements are approximately 14 inches long by 10 inches high by 5 1/2 inches thick. Interior has three cells or compartments. The BG-186, to the best of our information, was designation for GI Field Radios or Tank Radios and equipment. This piece is in Very Good Condition. It mas minimal fraying above the logo next to that snap, and a small tear, about 1 inch long, to the left of the letter B. Top flap snaps have strong original black finish with faint amounts of brass showing. Shoulder strap is excellent with no tears. We rate this piece as Very Good, but photos should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. This piece came to us from a Pennsylvania collector.
