Description: If you're a serious gun enthusiast, dealer, or collector, please consider attending our in-store auction on Saturday, January 16, 2010, beginning at 9 a.m. We'll have over 400 lots, Browning guns, Case Knives, Colt firearms, H&R, Remington and Winchester ammunition in case lots, Beretta, Browning, Colt, Ruger firearms, Sig-Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Taurus, World War I and II Military, Winchester, and many more. This will be an absolute auction, no by-bidding, held on our premises at 117 Front Street, Henderson, Tennessee. We're 90 miles East of Memphis, 75 miles North of Tupelo, very convenient to I-40. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> After the flurry of firearms sales died down in 1982, and prices began deflating, Taurus used the lull for innovative purposes. After years of following their Smith & Wesson ancestors, Taurus began taking a leadership role. This Taurus model 85 Ultra-Lite represents Taurus's leadership, and others' following, to use technological advances in steel work and investment casting to bring the Chief's Special class of revolvers to a new level where they would withstand .38 Special +P proof loads. Smith & Wesson itself lagged for almost 10 years before following suit, and that only under pressure from its Brazilian offspring. This is the lightweight, blue steel frame Model 85 Taurus, product Code 2-850029UL, manufactured in Brazil for Taurus International in Miami. It has an all steel, full lug 2 inch barrel. Capacity, of course, is 5 rounds; fixed notch rear sight and blade front sight atop a matte finished sighting plane for diminished glare; matte white alloy frame; traditional Satin Stainless thumb latch, hammer and trigger. The hammer strikes a floating firing pin, and in addition to the transfer bar internal safety, this revolver comes with Taurus's patented and inconspicuous hammer lock with two keys. Grips are pliable semi-pebbled rubber combat with finger grooves and faint palm swells. At 17.5 ounces, the grips along with the steel frame make for an optimal combination of lightness and maneuverability. Pricing on the standard Model 85 in our area is over $400, if a person can even find one. This is one that we sold earlier this year at Tax Time. It is a local revolver, fired fewer than 50 times. Its only surface detractions are moderate cylinder rotation marking; it is excellent throughout, in its original box with all its papers. We're offering it for only $ 379.95 Not transferable to civilians in Chicago, Massachusetts, or NYC. IF THIS REVOLVER DOES NOT SELL BY DECEMBER 31, IT WILL SELL TO THE HIGH BIDDER IN OUR IN-STORE AUCTION ON JANUARY 16 REGARDLESS OF PRICE. Auction will be conducted by Col. Don Ellis, Tennessee License # 196, Firm # 410. All items will be lotted for inspection by Thursday, January 14.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
